Backstory: A knight returns from battle and see his fortress ambused. Unfortunately, that's all what remains of it.

The idea was to create a compositional layout with a backstory and study it's tonal values. Tonal studies help you create better contrast which enhances the overall mood you're trying to convey.

Story: Human sacrifice is demanded by their demonic gods... to preserve their land/homes/children.

I've been testing the power of my video card lately and I'm very happy to have invested in that card. It can run games smoothly with max graphic capabilities, and with minimal lag. It can further enhance the image quality by sliding the Anti-alias setting up to x16. In addition, it also greatly enhances effects such as smoke & water making the gameplay even more believable. Check 'em out!

I have gotta say... next gen games are pretty sick! The new gaming engines are stronger, better and faster which makes the gaming experience all the more worth it.

These screenshots are actually rendered from my videocard. I had to reduce the image quality/size to upload them on the blog. Screenshots are from; Call of Duty: World at War, Tomb Raider Underworld, Unreal Tournament 3. I'm currently testing out Portal, Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, Brother's in Arms- Hell's Highway... now, just waiting for StarCraft II.

Hey, my old pc died! So, I got myself a new one. Bought all the parts on Friday around afternoon and fully assembled it before midnight. It took me around 5 hours (including tons of testing). Not bad considering it's the first time I've assembled it all by myself.

Some Interesting facts, Photoshop now takes 15 sec to fully load up comparing to my old pc which was around 30-35 secs. It takes exactly 20 sec for a complete shut down, from desktop to competely off. This time around, installing all my gazillion programs took me about an hour instead of the usual 'Whole day'. I'm currently testing out UT3 & COD 4 on Ultra High Res graphics.
